The Oregon Coast has so many great locations for your Engagement Session, Elopement or Wedding day! When Rick & Ellie chose Cannon Beach for their Engagement Session I was so ready to head to the beach! Cannon Beach is one of the most visited Oregon Coast towns with iconic Haystack Rock as it’s beach icon.
The Location
Cannon Beach has a number of great beach options and for Rick & Ellie’s session, we focused on the central area that includes Haystack Rock. From the photos, you might not be able to tell this is actually July 19, 2020. Weather on the Oregon Coast can change quickly and is a bit unpredictable. But with this being 2020, and already being postponed once, we were so ready to get to the beach!
The Session
Engagement Sessions with Myrtle Creative Co. begin at one hour and allow for two outfits. I always have my portable changing room on hand to help make outfit changes a breeze. Sessions at the beach are so much fun and some of my favorite!
Engagement Sessions are all about having fun, spending time together and creating new memories. I direct you throughout the session, work with the elements while also carrying on an almost constant conversation with you two so I can get to know you better.
Since this was a cloudy day, there was unfortunately not an awesome sunset for Rick & Ellie. However there we did get some nice color that popped through which was a great surprise! And no matter the season, ending a beach session with a campfire on the beach is the best!
Had such a great time with Rick & Ellie and getting to know them better before their wedding day! This was also so nice to be able to chat all things wedding in person – such a treat! You guys are so fun!
