Rocky Hill Events was the perfect place for Raul & Bonnie Rose’s sweet Fall micro wedding. A little backstory – these two reached out about two months in advance as they were planning their micro wedding. However they were having trouble finding a venue on short notice and after a few almost venue bookings I offered to help with recommendations.
Enter Rocky Hill Events – while they were technically booking for 2024 dates back in late summer 2023, I reached out on behalf of the couple and just had to ask. It was in the area they were looking for, had the perfect capacity for their micro wedding and was not already booked. Raul & Bonnie Rose were able to go out that weekend to tour and fell in love with it. Rocky Hill Events was so wonderful and came through for this couple and the setting was just perfect!
Their Wedding Day
Early October can be such a wonderful time for weddings! And this day was no different – sunny, with fall colors coming in – just magical for Raul & Bonnie Rose! Rocky Hill Events boasts a tree deck for a beautiful ceremony space, and has an outdoor and indoor reception space all surrounded by a beautiful greenspace and forest. Since this event, they have expanded their tree deck and are continuing to make their venue amazing. And for Raul & Bonnie Rose’s Rocky Hill Events Micro Wedding, the space was just right!
These two each got ready onsite in the two prep spaces available before sharing a first look together. After first look we did some immediate family photos before it was time to prep for the ceremony. Their ceremony was on the tree deck and with the sun coming through the trees it was just perfection! Also check out their bubble aisle exit – love a good aisle exit! 🙂
Cocktail hour and reception were both out on the patio area thanks to the wonderful weather. The newlyweds joined their reception after family photos and a few couple’s photos. Their reception was such a fun time with cake cutting, shoe game, first dances, open dancing and time shared with loved ones. Such a beautiful day for these two newlyweds!
