Maternity sessions are always so incredibly special for me to capture. It is a season of life that is full of excitement, anticipation, and maybe some nerves too. I loved capturing Josh and Jeanine for their couple’s maternity session and documenting these precious moments as they go from a newly married couple to a family of three. This is such a special time for them as they await the arrival of their sweet little one.
The Location
With plenty of stunning scenic surroundings, this couple’s maternity session took place within the Oregon Coast. We had the best of both worlds while strolling along the beach and trekking through the Oregon forest. The weather was favorable on this day and the overcast sky made for beautiful moody photos along the coast.
The Session
Josh and Jeanine are outdoor enthusiasts and wanted to be surrounded by the beauty of nature for their session. They were enjoying a weekend getaway and this session doubled as a way to explore an area of the coast they had not seen before. In between photos and walking from location to location I was happy to act as tour guide as this is one of my favorite locations I have visited since I was a kid. (One of the extra perks of hiring a native Oregonian for your session.)
This was such a fun, relaxed session as we chatted and basked in the surrounding beauty. These two parents-to-be were able to take a deep breath and really enjoy this happy time in their relationship before welcoming their first child to the world. Congratulations Josh & Jeanine!!
