The Oregon Coast is an elopement destination that lives up to all the hype, and then some. Owen and Nathalie came from Florida to elope on the Oregon Coast with their kids; blending their families to become one. Nathalie chose this location based on photos and getting to explore the area on their elopement day was like a dream come true. Having their kids with them also turned the trip into a family vacation which is always a good time! 🙂
Nathalie and Owen’s adventure elopement was held on the Northern Oregon Coast at a few different beach locations. The Oregon Coast is perfect for any elopement especially adventure elopements because there is so much to explore in the area. It is also a perfect family friendly location! For this elopement day they began at Hug Point and the iconic sandstone cliffs for a foggy weekday morning ceremony. After the ceremony we made our way to a nearby location for a walk through the forest, and finally ended at Cannon Beach for a cake cutting. The fog lingered throughout the morning but made for a moody day on the Oregon Coast.
Owen and Nathalie came from Florida with their kids (her two girls, his daughter, and son) for a blended family Adventure Elopement. I was so excited when they asked me to capture this special time in their life. Owen and Nathalie had a morning elopement on the Oregon Coast. They had the beach to themselves for their ceremony where they exchanged personal vows. Their kids were included in this intimate ceremony and it was a beautiful moment. Also Nathalie’s custom veil was stunning and such a beautiful addition!
The fog lingered throughout the morning but didn’t slow them down as they were able to explore these Oregon Coast locations for the first time on their elopement day. Coming from Florida, getting to enjoy a walk through the forest and time on these cliff lined beaches was a new experience for this family and one they got to experience together. It was a wonderful time despite being a bit chilly for August in Oregon.

Me, my soon to be wife and 4 children all flew to Oregon from Florida for an elopement. We only talked on the phone two-three times and booked. Honestly, I was there for the wedding and didn’t really know what to expect. Ann guided us to the most amazing locations. It literally COULD NOT have turned out better. From the beach, to the forest, and 300 ft sand dunes, it literally was an adventure and she was awesome. She did an amazing job and the photos she took made it easy and memorable to think back on the entire experience. We took a chance, she drove an hr at 6 am for a sunrise beach wedding!!!! We had the entire beach to ourselves. Hugpoint. Photos I will cherish for the rest of my life along with the memories with the kids. Sry for the long post, this is WAY overdue. Hopefully some day we can get back around there for a follow up session. She was extremely accommodating. Don’t miss out!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful photos! Love that they kept their elopement intimate and still included their kids in part of their day
Ahhh that lighting looks like a dream, and I love that rocky outcropping they walked alongside. So well captured!
The Oregon coast is the best location! I love how you incorporated the kids; what a fun day.
The Oregon coast just looks like the perfect spot for an elopement! Such a beautiful day and so special they shared it with their kids!
