The Southern Oregon Coast is home to rugged coastline and some of the most secluded beautiful beaches in Oregon. No surprise this area is a great elopement destination! Tory & Patty reached out just about two months in advance to begin planning their Brookings, OR elopement which included ceremony at Capella By the Sea and time on the beach with their two dogs. They also added a day after adventure session in the California Redwoods (which I always recommend when so close!) which you can see on the blog soon!

THE LOCATION

Tory and Patty’s dream of having their ceremony at Capella By the Sea and have time with their doggies on the beach came to life for their October Elopement on the Southern Oregon Coast. Capella By the Sea is a beautiful venue in Brookings, OR with capacity for 49 people. It is available to rent for ceremonies with a minimum of 2 hours for $258. Their day also included prep at a local oceanfront hotel, and time on the beach before returning back to the hotel for cake and champagne together to end the evening. While the clouds rolled in around sunset, it was still a beautiful day for their Brookings elopement.

THEIR DAY

Tory and Patty’s wedding day started off by getting ready for their day together at their lodging in Brookings. They also had their cute pups with them who had wedding attire as well and were just the cutest! Prep time together can be such a wonderful way to spend the early part of your day and have those intimate moments together.

THE CEREMONY AND AFTER

Once ready we drove the short distance to Cappella By the Sea for their ceremony. And their intimate ceremony at Capella By the Sea was perfect! They exchanged personal vows and said their ‘I do’s’ in the beautiful cathedral like space of Capella By the Sea before spending a few moments in the park with the puppers before heading to the beach.

After the ceremony we made our way to the beach which required a short hike. The clouds also rolled in and a few things delayed earlier moments during their day meaning we made it to the beach a bit later and sunset was elusive on their day. But they still enjoyed a wonderful time on the beach where they had their first dance, popped some champagne and enjoyed the beach with their doggies. Finally, their day wrapped up back at their hotel room where they had cake and enjoyed their champagne.

These two incorporated so many special touches to their day and is a reminder you can incorporate whatever you want to on your day!
