Cannon Beach is a much loved location on the Oregon Coast for a good reason. Haystack Rock, located in Cannon Beach, has become the iconic representation of the Northern Oregon Coast. Chase & Erin love Cannon Beach as well and chose it for their Oregon Coast Micro Wedding and private dinner at The Bistro to follow.
Chase and Erin’s Oregon Micro wedding was held at Cannon Beach on the northern Oregon Coast with a private dinner at The Bistro. Cannon Beach is the perfect place for an elopement or simple micro wedding like Chase and Erin’s! If having less than 50 guests and no structures, no permit is needed for your beach ceremony on the Oregon Coast. Unsure about the rules in your area? It is always best to check for yourself!
Chase and Erin’s day was relaxed, quiet and heartfelt. They got ready with friends and family at an Airbnb before Erin and Chase’s private first look on the beach. One of their requests for their day was quiet moments together and getting to be natural. This meant I gave them basic guidance while they just got to be together which was really magical.
Their prep location was in a different location than their ceremony, where we met up with the rest of their guests. Their ceremony was led by a dear friend of theirs on the beach with the sound of the ocean around them. After the ceremony, there were group photos and couple’s photos of the newlyweds before all met up at The Bistro for their private reception. The Bistro can be reserved for small events and is a beautiful family run restaurant in Cannon Beach.
The newlyweds enjoyed cocktail hour with guests, and toasts before dinner. We then headed out to get sunset photos at Haystack Rock before returning for their custom dessert. Getting sunset photos on the beach is always a must and something I highly recommend especially when the sky lights up as much as it did on Chase & Erin’s wedding day.
