These two planned a beautiful brunch summer Sunday wedding at Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora, Oregon. Their wedding details and overall vision came together beautifully with their amazing vendor team (see below) making all the magic happen for these two. We had the pleasure of getting to hang out with Kevin and Beverly for their engagement session in the Columbia River Gorge in 2020 and you can see that HERE.

Their Day

Kevin and Beverly had the most beautiful Langdon Farm wedding. These two are so fun, carefree and their love for life and each other is so evident through their photos from their day. They truly made the most of this time with friends and family without losing focus on each other. Leading up to their day, Beverly’s father passed away suddenly which breaks my heart but he was still very much a part of their day.

The Location

Langdon Farms offers premiere wedding venues unlike any other in Portland and they are just 15 miles south of downtown. Their beautiful wedding venues provide couples and guests with a breathtaking place for their nuptials. From the Red Shed ceremony lawn, where couples can share their first married kiss surrounded by vibrant flowers, to the Red Shed, a flexible reception venue that can either feel outside undercover in the warmer months or act as a cozy and romantic venue in the winter.

The White House completes their wedding venues with its spacious farmhouse feel where brides and grooms-to-be finish their final touches in comfort, and take in the amazing view from the back porch. It was a beautiful location for Kevin and Beverly’s special day!

First Look

After prep, their first look took place at this iconic row of birch trees that provided a great shady area for the couple to stay cool in. These two had the sweetest private first look where they got to see each other for the first time on their day. Having these private moments together are so special in my opinion and not to be missed.

The Ceremony

Their ceremony was during midday for a brunch meal to follow. This did make for a hot time but so gorgeous! Beverly envisioned and designed her complete ceremony setup and it was stunning! Lighting at noon can be challenging but not too worry! It was a bright sunny day without a cloud in the sky and was just gorgeous.

The Reception

After some couple’s and family photos following the ceremony it was time for their brunch reception in the Red Shed. Having brunch for your main meal was so fun and what a beautiful space their their reception with the chalkboards personally done by Letters and Dust and beautiful decorations personalized for their day. Kevin and Beverly enjoyed their first dance, a bouquet toss and some open dance time as well as corn hole. They were not doing a formal send-off however their wedding party and friends made sure they still got that send-off moment and feel that we were happy to help organize this spontaneous send-off tunnel for these two. Such a wonderful couple! Love you guys and wishing you all the best!

She provided plenty of helpful vendor referrals, a very detailed itinerary, and would also check in with us repeatedly in the months leading up to our wedding. You won’t have to worry about late responses (or lack thereof) with Ann Marie! On our wedding day, she made sure we stuck to our timelines even when we had family and friends pulling us in different directions. She and Adam were also running around constantly making sure we were hydrated in the mid-80 degree heat. Finally, our photos look amazing and she produced a large preview gallery in less than 24 hours for both our engagement photos and wedding photos. We had challenging high noon lighting to work with in late August and she still managed to make everything look stunning.
