Gorge Crest Vineyards is a beautiful Washington wedding venue in the Columbia River Gorge. On this October day, the skies were a bit hazy from a nearby fire unfortunately but the views and vineyard were still a gorgeous backdrop for Trent & Jen’s wedding day. And nothing could dampen their spirits! October is such a beautiful time in the Pacific Northwest!

I associate photographed Trent & Jen’s wedding for a fellow photographer who unfortunately got sick and was unable to. It was a pleasure to be able to step in and help out on such short notice for these two. Their day was very laid back, they had a great vendor team and it was beautifully planned. Jen’s style and planning shown through in all the beautiful details. And together they were such a joy! It was so great to get to capture their day and celebrate their love!

The Venue

Gorge Crest Vineyards is a stunning Washington vineyard wedding venue in the Columbia River Gorge. The vineyard, located in Underwood, WA, boasts spectacular views of Mt. Hood and the surrounding landscape. The vineyard offers several stunning options for weddings, including a covered pavilion that can accommodate up to 250 guests. The grounds also feature lush gardens, a tranquil pond, a large lawn, and a terrace overlooking the vineyards. The vineyard’s tasting room, which overlooks the vineyard, provides a great spot for guests to enjoy a glass of the vineyard’s award-winning wines and reception space. The Gorge Crest Vineyard was the perfect setting for these two lovebirds to begin their happily ever after.

THEIR DAY

Trent and Jen’s wedding at the Gorge Crest Vineyard was a wonderfully relaxed and fun wedding day. The sun shone brightly over the rolling hills and the picturesque grounds of the Gorge Crest Vineyard. They opted for a private First Look before couple’s photos in the vineyard followed by group photos before their ceremony. It was a very warm day for October and making time for shade breaks was important!

Their ceremony was led by their good friend Ryan, with Trent and Jen exchanging vows before their friends and family. They had a beautiful flower petal aisle exit that if you have the option to have one, I highly recommend! So fun and a great addition to your aisle exit. Post ceremony, the newlyweds got to have some time to themselves and enjoy their cocktail hour with family and friends before their dinner reception. And of course we made time for some golden hour and sunset couple’s photos! Always a must especially with a view like theirs at Gorge Crest Vineyards.
